Bending System 15000
Bending without mandrel

High-performance mandrel-less pipe bender for extreme conditions
The JUTEC 15000 was developed for demanding bending applications involving large pipe diameters, thick walls, and complex geometries. This high-performance mandrel-less pipe bender combines a robust, heavy-duty design with a powerful precision drive and intelligent control system, enabling high bending forces while delivering precise and repeatable results.
Depending on the model and application, tubes and profiles with an outside diameter of up to approximately 160 mm can be machined. Solid material as well as various tube and profile geometries can also be processed using the appropriate tools.
This makes the JUTEC 15000 particularly well-suited for demanding applications in plant and pipeline construction, shipbuilding, mechanical and special-purpose machinery manufacturing, as well as in energy and hydraulic engineering.
Burr-free bending of large-diameter pipes
During burr-free bending with the JUTEC 15000, the tube remains stationary during the bending process while the tool moves around the workpiece. This reduces the space required and ensures good access to the bending area—a decisive advantage, especially for large and heavy workpieces.
Since no traditional bending mandrel is required, tooling and setup concepts can be flexibly adapted to different manufacturing tasks. This makes the machine an attractive option for individual parts and prototypes as well as for repairs and small production runs.
For thin-walled tubes, slide shoes can also be used. They support the workpiece during the bending process and help reduce creasing and excessive deformation—especially with challenging materials such as stainless steel or copper.
Your benefits:
Precise control and reproducible bending results
High bending forces require correspondingly precise process control. On the JUTEC 15000, position detection takes place directly on the bending axis. This captures the actual movement of the bending unit and ensures high repeatability.
Operation is convenient via a menu-driven touchscreen control system available in 14 languages. The desired bending angle can be set in 0.1° increments. For more complex workpieces, complete bending sequences with up to eight bends per geometry can be programmed, saved, and repeated.
The bending speed is variably adjustable for both the forward and reverse strokes and can be adapted to the specific machining task.
Material characteristics for compensating for springback
Since materials spring back to varying degrees depending on their properties and wall thickness, the control system includes material characteristic curves and a configurable overbend function.
In this process, the workpiece is intentionally bent beyond the desired final angle. The springback caused by the material is taken into account, so that the desired target angle is achieved after the bending process.
This reduces the amount of rework required and helps ensure consistent bending results and a high level of process reliability.
Control Functions
Heavy-duty construction for high bending forces
The JUTEC 15000 is designed from the ground up to handle heavy loads. A powerful three-phase drive, combined with a precision gearbox, ensures the necessary power transmission for bending large cross-sections.
The machine's robust construction provides the foundation for stable bending processes and consistent results. Weighing over two metric tons, the JUTEC 15000 is specifically designed for high bending forces and demanding industrial applications.
Versatile for Tubes, Profiles, and Solid Materials
The JUTEC 15000 is not limited to conventional round tubes. Depending on the tool design and application, it can machine workpieces with a variety of geometries:
Round Tubes · Square Tubes · Flat Steel · Shapes · Solid Stock · Custom Shapes
Furthermore, with the use of specialized tools, the machine can be adapted to specific workpiece geometries and manufacturing requirements. As a result, the JUTEC 15000 offers a high degree of flexibility for companies that wish to machine different cross-sections, materials, and geometries with a single machine.
