Represented at the stand of Grimas KFT in Hall A Pavilion 212B, you could see our mandrel-less bending machines model 3000 and model 6000.

The mobile bending machine model 3000 up to tube dm 35mm with small and handy pack size received a new maintenance-free three-phase motor which is controlled via a frequency converter, which enables the power supply via 230V. The speed of the motor can be adjusted steplessly. This allows the bending tool to be returned at a higher speed, resulting in shorter cycle times. The repeatability has been increased again and the adjustment to 0.5° has been made possible.

The power-saving wonders of the 6000 series bending systems

New power-saving wonders are the mobile bending systems from the 6000 model series, which now bend tubes up to an outer diameter of 60mm even more precisely.

Here, the frequency converter technology allows the use of the machine with 230V for the model 6000S for pipes up to 48mm (the power supply for the model 6000D remains unchanged with 400V for pipe up to 60mm). Compared to the previous model with 400V power supply, the power consumption of the three-phase drive is reduced by approx. 30%. With the new comfortable and menu-driven user interface with touch screen control, the operation on the large display is even easier. 99 programs with up to 8 bending angles can be stored. The so-called ramp function (slow acceleration and deceleration of the bending axis) increases the precision even further and the sheet quality in the start and end area is improved.

Semi-automatic and economical: The mandrel bending machine model 5000

The semi-automatic, economical mandrel bending machine model 5000, suitable for a tube diameter up to Ø 50mm, is also on display.

The compact drive unit with the detachable mandrel carrier offers great advantages when using other bending systems (roll and profile bending). The free-standing bending head can be quickly converted for right- or left-hand bending for complicated geometries. The plug-in bending tools allow quick changeover to other tube dimensions. With the optimized hydraulics for tube clamping, bending quality is significantly improved. The automatic drive significantly reduces bending and non-productive times. Operation is convenient via a touch display. Simple and fast data backup via USB stick possible.  

The mandrel bending machine model 7000 with a bending capacity up to Ø 70mm and the model 9000 up to Ø 88,9 mm can be inspected or tested directly in the factory in Limburg by appointment, in addition to all other machines.
